Dear Elk Members,

It is that time of year when we think about Christmas and the Charitable work that we do throughout the year. We think about those less fortunate in our communities and the adults and children that depend on our caring and generosity. We Elk members are constantly looking to help whenever we can.
We think about providing cheer and comfort to our Veterans, not only at Christmas but throughout the year.
This year, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, income has been greatly reduced, and many events have been postponed or cancelled. However, we are very excited to be able to host our Christmas parties at the Lodge for Elk children or Special Education Students from area schools. These are fun and exciting events for the participants and volunteers both and will are happy to see them return.
Other charitable activities which continue include donations to Social Services in our communities that render very many services to those in need, not only during the Holiday Season but through the year; donating time and space to the American Red Cross for blood drives and donations to the veterans living at the Rocky Hill Veterans Home, a favorite place to show support to our Veterans.
This year the need is greater than ever, and as our Lodge also recognizes requests from any member, either for themselves or persons and families, in need of assistance at the Holiday Season or any other time, we strive to give them all the help that we can.
Needless to say, none of these efforts and accomplishments would or could occur without the generous support and donations from our members. This year, as in years past, we are asking for your support again. Please donate as generously as you can to this worthy program, established by the members of this Lodge for members of the Lodge and our communities. Whatever amount you can give, large or small is appreciated, not only by this committee but also by the many that benefit from it. This is rewarding work that we so proudly enjoy doing both at the Holiday Season and throughout the year.
Please be advised that your donation is deposited in a separate account that is used only for charitable work by this Lodge. Thanking you all in advance and wishing you a very Merry Christmas, New Year and Holiday Season.

Fraternally yours,
